SA Mushrooms are looking for a full-time Harvesting Leading-Hand to join our team. If you are a hands on type of leader who is passionate about horticulture and farming, and have your own transport then this could be the job for you!

We grow our mushrooms indoors in climate-controlled growing rooms, allowing us to pick mushrooms 365 days a year. This means our employees have secure and reliable work all year round as we are not seasonal like many other produce farms.

About the role:

Reporting to the Head Grower you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising staff performing harvesting duties. You will also ensure our quality and food safety standards are being met. You will need to be able to problem solve and have the ability to work under limited supervision and within a team environment

Requirements

Applicants must have upper intermediate English skills, be physically fit, be available to work over a 7-day roster, and have their own reliable transport.

Mushroom experience is not essential, agriculture and horticulture background will be highly regarded.
